What Would Buddy Do?
McNabb plays well in meaningless exhibition; all is now right with universe

Big 5 is back and ready to signThough I haven’t seen the full game yet (waiting for me on the DVR back in C@L), the statline, video highlights on PhiladelphiaEagles.com, and barrage of text messages from my brother indicate that the Donovan McNabb looked pretty good against Carolina last night.

Exhale.

Sure, I’m eager to see how other parts of the team played (because it seems like the defense must have played well also), but really all we wanted to see last night was if 5 was fully operational. It sure seems like 5 is fully operational.  The ball to Schobel was especially pretty (and good for Schobel for hauling it and rumbling toward the end zone — I guess we can’t give the job to Celek quite yet!).

Now get back in your bubble wrap until Green Bay.

(Also, David Carr will be starting for Carolina no later than Week Five.  And they will be a much better team as a result of that move.)
