And who said that the Bracegate line of questioning from this summer was just blathermonkey rubbish?
(Besides me, of course.)
Days after obliterating the Detroit Lions’ secondary and throwing (literally) a perfect game in a 56-21 win, Donovan McNabb admitted that yes, he had shed his pesky knee brace, and yes, he did feel better without it:
…taking the brace off his repaired right knee “has given me an opportunity to work on my extension a little bit more to get my explosion back. I felt that [the brace] was kind of taking away from that. It wasn’t a confidence issue. At some point, I knew I was going to take it off. I just decided to do it last week.”
And here we thought this was just a bunch of bored reporters making up filler copy!
(It was, unless Dunavin is even crazier than we thought.)
