And we’re back. Again.

It is with great joyous fanfare that I officially declare the end of the BountyBowl offseason! It’s Draft Week, and it’s time to rejoin our blathering brethren on the great InterWebs!

What have I been up to this past month? Oh, the usual. Slow-cooking pork (see above, and it was tasty). Getting sunburned for no good reason. Earning Continental OnePass miles. Rooting on the other Philly teams. Looking for an opportunity to spit on David Stern and Clay Bennett. Pretty standard, really. Couldn’t really get excited about NFL-related blogging, if only because so very little has been going on (sort of). Still, with the schedule last week, the Mike Patterson plea, the ongoing Lito Sheppard stuff, and the draft this weekend, well, it’s time to turn this action back on. (Read the rest of this story.)

Andy Reid is very hungry

Let it never be said that I am one to keep my respective passions for Food Porn and the Phildelphia Eagles separate!

In an interview session with a mix of local and national blathermonkeys at the NFL Owners Meetings, Andy Reid reaffirmed his deep and special relationship with Donovan McNabb, dissed his breakfast sandwich, and (shockingly) suggested that the wide receiver thing was “overrated.”

Most importantly, however, he gives us some insights into the brain of Andy Reid, which (predictably) involves thinking about food. A lot.
