On the other hand, I’m really damn retroactively pissed off about this. The Eagles (despite their potent 8-minute drill) only last that game by 3 points. If the Pats’ cheating influenced the outcome of 1 or 2 key plays, that might have been enough to make the difference in my continuing to be a bitter depressed Eagles fan and the dawning of a glorious new age.

I don’t see how they could award the Superbowl to the Eagles, since the Pats could have also illegally taped the Steelers, who crushed us that season, but I almost think they need to strip their titles from any season in which there’s evidence of cheating.

But the NFL will bury this.
