What Would Buddy Do?
Andy Reid sabbatical?

ESPN-blathermonkey-and-Cowboys-fan Matt Mosley has jumped on the Andy-Reid-must-go tip this morning, and has actually added some new twists to the story. While Mosley believes that Reid isn’t going to be fired, he offers up the suggestion that Reid might take a sabbatical following this season:

Well, I think we can all agree that owner Jeff Lurie isn’t going to show Reid the door. He’s earned the right to leave on his own terms — unless he keeps posing .500 records. On Wednesday, the NFC Beast talked to a Pro Football Hall of Fame writer who thinks there’s a good chance Reid will take a sabbatical after this season. Like Bill Cowher, he might take some time to recharge his batteries and then think about making a return.

Pro Football Hall of Fame writer who knows a lot about the Eagles, let me see, hmmm, yes, checking my notes, and, what’s that right there, carry the one, um, yes, okay. So Ray Didinger thinks Big Red is going to take a break? Huh. I’ll take that.

And Matt, we appreciate your effort to mask your source. Thanks!
