The Steelers are going to the Super Bowl and they’ll be playing the Cardinals. This could be Dawkins last chance at a title, McNabb’s last chance at redemption, and Reid’s first chance to prove he’s part of the next group of great coaches in the NFL.

The Eagles had no business being in the playoffs, at all. Tied Cincy, benched McNabb en route to a horrific loss in Baltimore... and then even after everything lined up for a resurgence, they laid an egg in DC. Only a miraculous aligning of the stars with a Tampa loss and a Houston loss did the Birds get what really was a third chance... and they took it. The Cowboys / Minny / Giants / Cardinals string of games was extraordinarily exciting, and frankly, unexpected. Yes, this could have been our year - I felt that way about destiny, or everything clicking... but it wasn't. Yet, it was a tremendous offseason. Gravy.
